The Law Offices of Christopher P. McGuire is pleased to announce the hiring of former Suffolk County District Attorney Mary C. Pelaez, and the creation of the law offices of McGUIRE & PELAEZ, P.C. Ms. Pelaez had recently worked in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office Domestic Violence Bureau and Case Advisory Bureau, prosecuting Misdemeanors and Felonies while conducting dozens of bench and jury trials. She had worked for the District Attorney’s Office for three years. Ms. Pelaez is fluent in English and Spanish, and will be handling personal injury, criminal and traffic cases, divorce and family court matters, and immigration cases.The Law Office of Christopher P. McGuire was formed in 1995 and has handled Accidents and other Personal Injury Claims, Criminal and Traffic Matters, Real Estate Closings, Divorce and Family Court Matters, in addition to other legal matters. Mr. McGuire is a former Special Assistant District Attorney and practices daily in the local criminal and district courts. He was a Congressional Aide, an Aide to the Secretary of State during the Reagan-Gorbachev Summit, and studied and taught in Beijing China before attending law school.
